According to the company they covered the short position with a special 3M to 1 FS for insiders who sold in error and then rewarded the remaining insiders who failed (unfortunately) to make a mistake by reclassifying their stock that looked just like ours but was restricted. They then gifted themselves 20M shares or more as compensation for solving the problem. There was a sticky issue with exceeding the maximum authorized share structure but they solved that by after the fact backdating FL SOS documents raising the authorized share structure to like 30T or some god awful number. They got the OS and float back under control by conducting an illegal never authorized unsanctioned except behind the scenes by regulators 3M to 1 reverse split. In fact, the whole ordeal here was so complex that the NASD generically referenced the situation calling for more powers so they could deal with this. It is real tricky going to the SEC and BEGGING for help with suspension of the Net Capital rule! Tricky language was required to appease shareholders that at some future point in time, after the JFK government assassination plans were released along with the 9-1-1 attack plans, when none of us were still alive nor our children, that justice would occur by regulators as they ensured the rules in force in 2004 were finally applied- say 2204 on the 200th anniversary or so! Now this unauthorized 3M to 1 RS was real tricky just like the extra unauthorized 3M to 1 FS - and was only applied to those shares sold in error and held by one of the original Oops sellers.

Damit, be specific dude! Just exactly what part of all of that was illegal? They adhered to every rule that was in the rule book man!

Oh wait, sorry, now I remember, the rule book got lost or thrown away. No one ever really knew for sure. It was a mystery with every bureaucrat that was approached pointing to someone else.

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot.
