Also, a preferred dividend and a F/S are not the same thing.
I will let the other posters on the board defend the decision by the company not to pay the dividend which will likely include an explanation that they decided to do a F/S because it is "better" because the preferred shares would have been restricted for a year. That is BS, and AMNE needed to either do a F/S, a R/S, or authorize and issue a ton of extra shares so they could follow through on their Paradigm deal. They decided to do #1 and #3.
