The State Bank of Vietnam has given the nod to the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) to increase its chartered capital from VND202bil to VND234bil.

This is the 14th time Techcombank has increased its chartered capital since 1993. According to Techcombank, this will be a foundation for the bank to expand its branch network from now to the year’s end and to complete its second phase of technology modernisation.
