bulldzr -- virtually every year, like clockwork, the strongest, most violent tornadoes have come and gone by the end of the first week in May -- so when do they begin this circle-jerk of a glorified field trip, proclaimedly looking for 'stronger, more violent tornadoes'? -- on May 10, which would have been a far more appropriate last day for the 35-day effort -- but what the heck, at least this way they'll have plenty of time for pix with bemused locals under clear blue skies -- as that article states, so far they've caught nada -- and the Storm Prediction Center currently is not forecasting any significant risk of organized severe storms anywhere in the Plains over the next 8 days ( http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/ ) -- . . .
