COSOL Sees U.S. market as key growth driver

COSOL Limited Managing Director Scott McGowan talked with Proactive at AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s role in driving operational efficiency across asset-intensive industries. COSOL Limited works with organisations in mining, oil and gas, utilities, and public infrastructure to enhance the performance of their physical assets. McGowan explained the company’s core service as unlocking value by helping clients reduce costs through better asset management. “We look at ways that we can save them real dollars to be able to manage that asset more effectively,” he said. The company’s client list includes major names such as Glencore, Rio Tinto, BHP, and several government departments. COSOL provides the systems and processes behind the scenes to manage these organisations’ equipment and facilities, potentially impacting hundreds of millions in operational costs. Even a 2–3% improvement, McGowan said, “makes a significant difference to their bottom line.” COSOL has grown revenue from AUD 30 million to over AUD 110 million since listing. It is now targeting organic growth in the mid-teens and exploring earnings-accretive acquisitions. Sintana Energy advances Orange Basin portfolio with key exploration updates

Sintana Energy CEO Robert Bose recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to provide a comprehensive update on the company’s Orange Basin assets, highlighting significant progress across PEL 83, PEL 90, PEL 87, and PEL 82. Bose sahred positive results from the Mopane 3-X well on PEL 83, operated by Galp. The well, which targeted new AVO anomalies 10 and 13, delivered better-than-expected results across nearly every parameter, confirming the presence of high-quality oil and condensate. This discovery has the potential to establish a new development hub, positioning PEL 83 as a key asset in the basin. Moving forward, activity will focus on evaluating partnership opportunities, with Galp expected to seek new partners in the coming quarters. The first Chevron-operated well on PEL 90 did not encounter commercial hydrocarbons but was still regarded as a technical success. Bose emphasized the company’s confidence in the exploration potential of the block, noting that the joint venture partners plan to return for further drilling later this year. Bose also provided an update on PEL 87’s Saturn Superfan prospect, where Woodside Energy chose not to proceed after completing a 3D seismic survey. Despite this, Sintana remains highly optimistic and is now in discussions with alternative supermajor partners. “We’re very excited about opening up the doors to larger, potential partners,” Bose stated, highlighting the continued confidence in the asset’s potential. Chevron has officially completed its farm-in at PEL 82, located in the Walvis Basin, paving the way for drilling operations next year. Bose also pointed to the growing political support for oil and gas development in Namibia, with upstream regulatory oversight now moved directly under the President’s office—a move he called “a huge step forward” for the industry. Lithium ION Energy secures joint venture with SureFQ to advance Urgakh Naran Lithium project

Under the agreement, ION will retain a 20% free carried interest through to commercial production, ensuring long-term participation in the project's success without additional financial commitments. SureFQ, a firm specializing in sustainable energy solutions and lithium resource development, will leverage its industry expertise and advanced extraction technologies to accelerate the project’s progress. As a strategic investor, SureFQ focuses on developing high-potential assets that support the global energy transition. Haji told Proactive SureFQ will provide $5.5 million in cash considerations to ION over 4.5 years. The company has committed to $8 million in development expenditures for Urgakh Naran over four years. Genflow Biosciences CEO welcomes new investment; outlines dog longevity trial

Genflow Biosciences PLC CEO Dr Eric Leire talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about a pivotal new direction for the company as it initiates a clinical trial focused on improving aging in dogs. Leire described the trial as a natural evolution from Genflow's previous success in mice, noting the commercial appeal of the canine market. “There is nothing to improve really the quality of life of our aging dogs,” he said, adding that the study meets a significant unmet need. The trial will run for one year, with six months of treatment followed by six months of assessment. It's being managed by independent contract research organisation Syngene. Leire emphasised the scientific rigour of the trial, which is controlled, randomised and includes both aesthetic and biological endpoints.
