I don't know if he can just file for Chapter 11 and walk away. I think he has to request it and then the appropriate governing body investigates the issue.

In order to file for a Ch. 11 does he need to release his financial info to the government ? I would think that there would be some sort of an audit done at that point of the PRs or information released to creditors?
