Actually, my formula is very similar to the one
stiv posted in message #1024. I avoid the use of the
2 extra calls to address(); I use the colname as text
instead, but either approach works.

For those of you who need to see the formula in action,
I have sent the file to Myst already, so it should be
posted up any time now.
