Why do you think this? If there were an FTC case it would have happened years ago,

Oh, please. You are welcome to believe that Intel has been as pure as the driven snow on this. I'm looking at the EU, Japan and Korea finding otherwise and thinking that maybe in those dark dark days of Prescott Intel was driven to do the things that three separate government agencies have now found them to have done. As for the FTC, it's a different FTC.

The prior administration regarded anti-trust law as so much trash to sweep under the rug. The current adminstration feels very differently. If you don't think that makes a very big difference, please excuse my laughing at your naivete.

BTW Please note that I used the bit about a "new sheriff" before any of the news articles that started using exactly that phrase. :)
