The so called "sell off" began very late in the day, very close to the close by those who planned to sell their positions today anyway.
I feel it was those who planned to sell anyway today....but wanted to wait as long as possible to see what they could get or if any news came through before the close......then when some began to sell, the others , who had planned to anyway also followed suit.
