("i2Telecom(R)") (OTCBB: ITUI), a leading developer of award-winning patented and innovative high-quality mobile applications and services, today announced that Bruce Friedman has been appointed to its Board of Directors as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Friedman replaces David Reese, who recently resigned without any disagreement or objections to any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.

With over 35 years of industry experience, Mr. Friedman has been involved in structuring complex financial transactions and designing marketing campaigns to introduce new, innovative products to the general public. He has extensive experience in the areas of structured partner relationships, consumer marketing and accounting.

Mr. Friedman began investing in i2Telecom in December 2006 and currently owns in excess of five percent of the equity of the Company. Mr. Friedman currently serves as President of MyBrainTrainer, LLC, a company he founded in 2003 that maintains a website to help enhance cognitive function. Additionally, he was the Founder and President from 1992 to 2009 of Heart Check America, Inc., an operator of medical imaging facilities specializing in cardiac screening examinations. Mr. Friedman was a commercial real estate broker from 1988 to 1992. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Triangle Management Corporation, a Beverly Hills-based real estate developer, from 1977 to 1985. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Friedman was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1973 to 1976, where he performed audits of public companies. Mr. Friedman is also a past President of the Worldwide Wharton Alumni Association.
