There's nothing magical about BTX - there are no laws of physics that preclude AMD or MB makers modifying BTX slightly to allow for their needs.

No there are no laws of physics but there are laws of economics the cuurent box makers don't want to invest to retool and redesign thier production facilities for BTX. If the public deciedes BTX is a must have check item you bet the box makers will start producing. Box makers want to keep thier costs down economics of numbers will make it cheaper for Intel BTX boxes intialy once cheap workarounds for mem controller cooling become available AMD cheap modified BTX boxes will become available. Intel always leads in CPU packaging, sockets,and desktop boxes ; AMD follows because of the laws of economics.
