...what Kid Rock Beer(s) taste like will probably mean the world to the ultimate success of the product, IMO...
...KR will sell X amount of beer based on his name alone...most will probably wind up in the bladders of the targeted audience : W/M/F's 18-35, lower to middle class, non-professional working class Joes and Josephines looking for something different and "chic" (for them)...
...more upscale folks such as myself (and I assume most posters here) will not pass up the opportunity to try "America's newest beer", and therein lies the taste issue...
...if you deliver me another "Coors' / Bud Light" type of puke, then I'm gone...but give me something that I can sink my tastebuds into, then it has a chance, IMO...
...W/M's 35-70 no longer drink domestic beer...at least not those who live outside the trailer parks...
...my opinion is that KR Beer will have an immediate and positive impact for Drinks', but also that it will ultimately pass or fail primarily on its quality, which I am predicting will not be up to the level of any imported beer that does well here...Duke...
