I'm not at all surprised that companies like BMC Software are offering & deploying their products via SaaS. The entire industry is shifting that direction. Granted there will be some organizations that would like to manage their workflow & data internally vs. outsourcing. The reason for this is because of the Organization's Security Policy. Some folks just don't trust nobody, but there own. This usually applies to Large Enterprise Organizations.

For the Small-Medium Size Companies, cheaper, better & more secured is the ideal dream. Cheaper & Better usually wins the heart of any organization. I know that for a fact, as budget is the most haunting obstacle course I have yet to encounter. Well.. to be honest it's the 2nd most haunting obstacle course compared to dealing with end-users. LOL...

I do wonder.. what other SaaS products BMC has on their plate. I'm quite excited as I've had 5 wonderful years of experience using SaaS products. Because of SaaS products, I am the only IT on staff. I also work very closely with an IT Consultant. His Firms Kicks Ass!
