If I haven't learned anything about stock trading (or life in general), I have learned this: "Education is expensive, no matter where you get it from..." I've been burned quite a few times, but I have also made a butt-load of cash especially back in the dot-com days and CROX a few years back but it was hit and miss. Now that I have found WU, I have started studying more and making better decisions.
You bring up a lot of good points. What I have learned if I may share; always have some cash on hand and don't put all your eggs in one basket, take a profit (repeat this over and over), sell it and remove it from your watch list don't think about how much you could have made (see previous point), you can only eat an elephant one bite at a time.
Just catching up on my reading, felt the need to type something.
