I keep looking at the accumulation, the old Prof that taught this in school told us to look at it like a large bunch of magma seething below the surface, when enough pressure from the magma (accumulation) finally occurs it breaks through the resistance holding it

Now I must confess, there was a beautiful blonde a row or two over that occupied more of my classroom time than the old grey beard so who knows what I remember...and everything must be taken with a grain of salt
