Texas Medical Group Unveils Online EHR Comparison Tool

"The Texas Medical Association has launched an online tool designed to help physicians choose an electronic health record system, Modern Healthcare reports.
The EHR evaluation tool compares eight of the top 10 EHRs used by Texas physicians based on a survey conducted by TMA. The tool also helps physicians estimate the cost of the EHR products.
The EHR evaluation tool will be updated periodically to reflect changes in physicians' preferred EHR products.
The medical association said that it encourages its members to implement health IT but that it is not endorsing any specific EHR systems (DerGurahian, Modern Healthcare, 5/5)."
