Tetres - do have a look at those formulas at:

they work very well in ascending/decending channels like the today and yesterday. Forumulas have nailed the top and bottom so far today within 1pt on the NDX. I use an Excel spreadsheet to pull data from yahoo automatically and do the calculations in daily and weekly timeframes. I also pull daily/weekly/monthly hi/low data and run fibo calculations and look for confluence within 3pts on the NDX automatically within Excel, graphing the results, see an example graph at my website:

the chart for this week isn't very usefull, many times there is only a few fibo bars on the chart to the right and those few bars usually provide very good support/resistance info.
