People need to calm down. Brian is being as transparent as he can be, or at least that is the impression I'm getting. This is a pink sheet stock, not a big board stock. On top of that he is trying to build something here. The dividend will come. To all those who are freaking out, don't. Read back a couple pages of posts and you will see that Ameritrade, etc. has said they acknowledge the dividend, but the TA is still working on getting them the shares. Not a big deal since you can't do anything with them for a year. The sky is not falling. If you don't believe in the stock or Brian then you shouldn't be in SYNJ. It's your money and you should do with it what you think is best. If you get out of the stock I wish you all the luck in your future endeavors.
Like many people have stated before, this is going to bounce between 2x3 until some kind of solid news is released. I believe that news is coming and that is why I'm in this stock to begin with. The divy means nothing to me, really. I mean, it will be nice to have it in a year if Brian can get this thing going, but that is a year from now.
Now, if we don't hear anything in a few weeks - updates, Director of Tech Operations job, funding, merger, etc. - then I will start to get impatient as well. But I say let's give the man a little time at the very least to work out what will undoubtedly be a complex operation to get moving.
People talking about $1/share isn't helping either. It gets people's hopes up and then when we don't move .0001 on the day it makes it look all the more difficult to achieve. Let's set our sights on .01 first. If we can make it there, then we can start talking about setting the bar higher. Baby steps for now. This is an investment and Brian has stated he wants investors in this stock and not flippers.
If Brian fails or dupes me then that is my fault for investing in this stock. He didn't make me buy. At the moment I believe he will "blow our minds"...it's up to him to make me look like an investing fool. I don't think he will, but that is just my opinion.
