The well that was just drilled hit a Canyon reef 20ft high to a well with good oil shows approx 1/2 mile away. Unfortunately our location only had 3% porosity which had oil in quantities that were to small to produce. There was a reason EDEX only had a small %, it was a small target. The next well we will attempt has a much larger potential. In addition to using PIP to find the site to drill we also ran a seismic line across the center of the prospect and everything lined up. We are not in this for a bunt single. We want home runs and they aren't found everyday but when they are it makes up for a lot of dry holes. It looks like Dirtydog has found a running mate. Welcome aboard. I have said that I studied Geology in college but never said I was a Geologist. I had to raise a family at an early age and work my way through school and college was getting in the way of learning about the real world. Thats why I have always said its easier to hire a Genius than become one. The PIP guys are wicked smart and there has been a lot of success but EDEX so far has always managed to get the ones with problems. I think that if I quit, like Dirtdog and his dog pack want, then you can count on the next well as being the one we were looking for. Its real easy to quit but a little harder to keep on trying until success. When we hit, the long suffering supporters will be rewarded.
