VERY FIRST Rule of Business. Under promise and Over deliver. If any doubt on time tables add a month.

ie. The Company is confident that the financials will be public prior to June 1st 2009. Now when the financials come back to be ready for public consumption on May 11, 2009. You look like a hero, Your CPA worked over time and bla bla bla. using garbage words like {expected] is just plain nonsense and unneeded.

How about instead of [expected] ie. the Company is confident of the possibility of disclosing financials by end of the month, however some time in May 2009 is more reasonable based upon work load for the CPA firm this time of year.

Just always Under Promise and then Over Deliver.

works well for me.
