The only thing I can see that you might have missed is; Who are the majority shareholders, insiders? If I was a majority shareholder with significant interests in the Co. than I would vote on buying them back as cheap as possible especially since the debt is getting cleared. I'm sure you know common shareholders have the last rights on any capital.
