I for one would understand what these guys are up against, since I was just at the Sierra Leone Border with Liberia only a few weeks ago. I have been a long time exploration consultant and mining entrepreneur in West Africa for the past 16 years. I have lived and have had home bases in Freetown, Accra and Monrovia....currently I am mining in Liberia. Essentially the reason these guys are having so many problems is the lack of understanding of West Africa. They are probably up to their eye balls in red tape (corruption) and don't have any idea how they got there or how to get out of it.
