St George Mining unveils major JORC resource

St George Mining Ltd executive chairman John Prineas talked with Proactive about the company's newly announced maiden JORC resource, which he says could be among the world’s most significant niobium and rare earth deposits. Prineas said the deposit features over 500 intercepts of high-grade mineralisation and boasts a rare combination of high grades and shallow mineralisation starting at surface, supporting an open pit development. “We think, possibly the second highest niobium deposit in terms of grade and, probably one of the highest rare earth deposits,” he told Proactive. He confirmed the company has already seen interest from industry players, with some expressing interest in potential partnerships and even mergers. The resource was released following St George’s acquisition of the project in late February, and the company has committed to a drill program starting in the coming weeks. According to Prineas, this program could potentially double the existing resource. In Brazil, St George has assembled an experienced in-country team and engaged a global EPC contractor to progress mine development. Nevis Brands doubles revenue in 2024, cuts losses & expands in key Markets

Nevis Brands CEO John Kueber joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s financial results for fiscal year 2024 and the fourth quarter ending November 30, 2024. Nevis reported $1.56 million in revenue, more than doubling its 2023 sales as it expanded into new markets and introduced new cannabis products. The company narrowed its net loss to approximately $362,000, down from $400,000 the previous year. When excluding interest, depreciation, and amortization, the adjusted loss was reduced to about $58,000. Nevis maintained its leading position in Washington’s cannabis beverage market and achieved the second-best sales ranking in Missouri within its first year in that state. The company also made significant progress in debt reduction, cutting current liabilities from $1.12 million to about $573,000 through debt payments and restructuring. Looking ahead to 2025, Nevis expects continued growth driven by expanding sales of its Happy Apple and Major brands in the hemp-derived THC beverage market. Brazil Potash’s Autazes Project fully permitted, poised for construction

Brazil Potash CEO Matt Simpson joined Steve Darling from Proactive providing key updates on the company’s Autazes Potash Project in northwest Brazil. The project has successfully completed all necessary permitting milestones—including technical, environmental, indigenous, and public consultations—clearing the way for full-scale construction. Brazil, which currently imports 98% of its potash, remains heavily reliant on foreign supply. The Autazes Project is designed to address this dependency by supplying 2.4 million tonnes annually, equivalent to approximately 17% of the country’s current potash demand, all of which will be sold domestically. Simpson highlighted the project's cost advantages, emphasizing that because production is based in Brazil, the total cost of extraction, processing, and delivery is lower than the transportation cost alone for imported potash. The construction of the Autazes Project will follow a modular approach, with major components pre-assembled offsite—including in Manaus—and then transported via the Madeira River to mitigate potential weather-related risks. This approach ensures greater efficiency, productivity, and quality control throughout the construction phase. Brazil Potash has already secured key commercial agreements to support project financing. The company has signed an offtake agreement with Amaggi, one of Brazil’s largest soybean producers, for 550,000 tonnes over 15 to 17 years and a MOU with Keytrade, a major global agribusiness player, for an additional one million tonnes. These agreements play a pivotal role in ongoing debt financing discussions with banks and export credit agencies, further de-risking the project for potential investors.
