SpongeTech® Delivery Systems, Inc. Responds to Swine Flu Outbreak with the Launch of Its New Medical Division

2009-04-27 15:37 ET - News Release

SpongeTech® Offers New Medical Cleaning Sponge Product Line with a Delivery System that Inhibits the Growth of Germs, Fungus and Mold within the Product Itself

NEW YORK -- (Business Wire)

SpongeTech® Delivery Systems, Inc. America’s Cleaning Company™, (OTCBB: SPNG), today responds to the swine flu outbreak that has affected parts of the world including Spain and Mexico, and parts of the United States, including Queens County, New York. SpongeTech® is pleased to announce that it has launched its medical division to meet the demand in the market for SpongeTech®’s new Medical Cleaning Sponge product line that includes a sponge for hand washing, a sponge for home, office and school cleaning, and chamois.

Utilizing SpongeTech®’s SAP technology, the sponge products washes away germs on your hands and body, cleans and disinfects most surfaces found in schools, offices and home environment. It is embedded with a specially formulated compound that is only released when the sponge is soaked and applied to any surface with minimal pressure. The delivery system and its technology also inhibits the growth of germs, fungus and mold and disinfects within the product itself.

The acting head of the Centers for Disease Control, Richard Bessler, said that people can best protect themselves against the swine flu threat by taking precautions they were taught as kids, like frequently washing their hands, covering one's mouth when coughing and staying home with a fever. “We are well-positioned and equipped to supply our newest product line across the globe to help protect our consumers, their families, their homes, offices and schools,” said SpongeTech®’s COO, Steven Moskowitz. “We encourage everyone to wash their hands regularly and wash down frequently used surfaces with our newest product line to avoid the risk of exposure to elements that can cause illnesses such as the swine flu.”
