Used to get pocket money by running a trot line for redfish as a kid off the coast of TX. Used bits of bright colored plastic, as bait.Those were the days when the water was so clean in the Gulf Of Mexico, that it was not at all uncommon to find seahorses. Used to use the money from trot line to go put gas in 50 dollar jeep bought out of the back of a comic book, to go roam all over Padre Island. Those were the days.
