Slug, I think someone has picked up a big position in the last couple of weeks to the tune of about 23 million shares through several brokerage houses this week alone. Accumulation for a reason?

The town of Bisset must be overflowing with 7 (3 Underground and 4 surface, 35-40 drillers and helpers)drills turning, more undergound miners(60 with helpers, operators), mill personnel (30), mechanics, electricians, millwrights, warehouse people, safety and training personnel , cooks and cleaning personnel for camps (35) and all the ancillery people such as geologists(8-10), supervisors(8-10), office people(10), planners(4), engineers(2). This just an estimate of close to 200. New camp is already full and it will take more miners to get production to 120,000 ozs for next year. With a 24 hr a day operation, the amount of people required to operate is huge. If they finish decline to Cartwight to start mining and move crews back into SG-1, another 100 people will have to hired to man them 24-7.

They need to build a major subdivision in Bisset because this mine isn't going away. Needs for families of people working at the mine will have to be addressed as they move to town. Another temporary camp will have to go in just to accommodate the new bodies needed right now as the existing camp facilities only accomodate about 80-100 and the hotel and motel only accomadate 40-50. There are no houses in town for rent or sale.

A long mine life will keep Bisset prosperous for a long time to come. TD says 5.3M oz in the Hinge vein 4, add the current 1.6M, the followup drilling in San Antonio, Cartwright and SG-1 probably adds .4M, for a total so far of 7M. The second hinge results starting to come in. Ramp up to 200k oz in 2011 gives a mine life of 35 years on 200k/year. We now have a mine camp as they will find other deposits in the area, including SG-2 and SG-3 which are on the backburner while they prove up the hinges. Harvest gold, Marum, Wildcat and a few others have lots of property adjoining.

The government of Manitoba might even pave the last 60Km to Bisset with all of the comming prosperity, but don't bet on it.

I found this on Stockhouse.
