SB's VC backers want their money back AND a shot at a piece the next Google--that's the reason they funded SB in the first place. NEOM could easily use (or block others from using): the IP SB has already licensed from others (for code reading and in the PWC space as well as its own patents), SB's reader and SB's clients/contracts in place. Using its shares as currency, NEOM could give SB's VCs an exit strategy with some upside IMO rather than the prospect of continued funding of a losing proposition. Should NEOM acquire SB, I believe SB management would be history. YJ.
