Gmenfan I had that issue with the Fidelity accounts they limited you to no more then 30% away from the last trade (Buy or Sell) , but TDameritrade will let me do it.

Matthew: just make sure it is a SELL and not a BUY limit order. I know from past experience when I accidentally placed a BUY and not a SELL :(
