I know that but are those buffer overflow viruses? That is ONE way of many that you can write a virus. Show me that the MAJORITY of those are buffer overflow viruses. Show me that the majority of viruses are buffer overflow viruses. If EVEN one gets through its bad. if there are 10 ways to write a virus and you cover one then you have one locked door. Great. Too bad your still wide open...

The point is this: its a good feature. Not denying that. Does it catchall viruses? No. Are there other legitimate ways to attack a computer BESIDES buffer overflow. YES!!!! Are there more than 1. Yes!

So when some on this board make this out to be a MUST HAVE feature, that is overstating the case. It gets to be so much like right wing vs. left wing politics here...sheesh.
