I did buy more, Alaskan.


A paltry 4.5 million shares for $450 plus whatever Scottrade charged me ($8.75?). And yes, in part because of PR's and the attempts by M.Saner to actually do something (drill, mine, take pictures, whatever). Primarily though, I made about $5,200 (200% return) on HGLC last year and am playing with someone else's money.

In comparison, my portfolio of mutual funds held in my retirement account lost 43% in 2008, representing tens of thousands of dollars. That is real...
