Report from the mine. Good evening all! As conveyed last night, I was at the mine today and I am happy to report back the following:
1. Excavators are digging and trucks are hauling!
2. Their is a very nice pile of ore sitting outside the mill
3. The mill is down waiting on a couple of parts. The primary part, which is their biggest concern, is a power inverter. The way I understood the conversation that if the the mill was to ramp up to full production, the lights would go dim in Milford....:) So, I guess this power inverter is being trucked from somwhere back east and is supposed to be here in a few days. Once installed, the mill will be in full steam ahead!
4. I tried to confirm once again about the confirmation of a buyer. Once again, I was told that a China based company is in pursuit and a deal has been "unofficially" agreed upon. Sooooooooooooo I guess we will see.
5. The other rumor that I heard today was that Kenecott Mine offered to purchase the mine several months ago, however, the deal was rejected by Dotson. I was also told that their could be a r/s coming very shortly.
6. Lastly, I took one for the team today! While I was in the office, I told everyone that I was disappointed in the stock price and how it keeps dropping everyday. The comment back was, "We are too" Sounds like that a majority of the people that are working at the mine own a good share of stock.......which I did find positive.....Hopefully they will extra hard for their shareholders...
