recollection of another sh comment:

following a statement by, i think, gomez or gabriel about dnap developing their own drugs, one woman said something about liking what dnap was doing in the area of what drugs will help or harm specific individuals. she asked who decided we should be a drug co? "i don't want to own a drug co", she said. to which richard gabriel replied, "well, that's your choice". tony stepped in and explained that the big money isn't in the classifiers. it is in developing your own drugs. he said big pharma cos. aren't interested in the approach dnap is taking; they are happy with the status quo. they want to keep being able to sell the most drugs in the shortest amount of time regardless of whether they help all patients, in order to recoup their tremendous cost of developing drugs. he went on to say that big pharma cos. that are working with those in same field as dnap on developing a specific drug are doing so only to find out how they do it, in order to suppress the science. (this tells me not to look forward to any big collaborations with the major drug cos; and why tonys vision is to use his methods in developing his own drugs.)

tonys' vision is to change the field of drugs and medicine; not to give big pharma a way to hang on to the status quo. this may succeed or fail with dnap. it is not a short term proposition. those looking for an immediate, day to day payoff, watching the sp on a daily, even hourly basis, should probably take their losses and move elsewhere, imo. one sh, early in the mtg, when the results of election were announced, proudly stated that he voted no for all the directors. well, what the h--- is he doing there...if you don't want the man with the vision and the mgt team he feels has the business acumen to help him achieve his goals, what does he think will be left to grow his investment for him?
