In MT4, if you open a long usd/jpy at 100.00 and set the stop at 99.50(-50 pips) then set the trailing stop to 50 pips, once usd/jpy reaches 100.50 the stop will move to break even then start trailing from there. So basically, you have the ability already, you just didn't know it.
