Populism can bite both ways. Obama reached over and stroked the arm of the man in charge in Brazil. He exclaimed that this man is the most popular leader in the world. He said all the world's problems are caused by white people with blue eyes. I am white and I have blue eyes. Do you suppose he was talking about me behind my back? That is about as racist as you can get. But I have been called that many times so just take your best shot and I will take mine. Then we shall see who is standing when the bell rings.
