Second, I believe that if Scanbuy had won the patent suit in either NY or TX they would be shouting from the rafters. IMO we would have immediately seen some type of press release.
Livefree, there is little doubt in my mind that neom owns this space. I also believe that as much as everyone on ihub contends that Scanbuy is in no way collaborating with neom, I tend to feel they have been but that they are simply attempting to protect their stake in this industry.
There have been far to many "coincidences" of Neom and Scanbuy being in the same place at the same time...Scanbuy always arriving after Neom tested the technology, and immediately signing the business. Companies do not follow, they lead. Therefore, I am of the opinion that Neom had an arrangement with Scanbuy to sign those deals and continue working them...while neom got on with the task of addressing infrastructure so that this platform could launch globally.
It all makes sense and I am sticking to my guns on this, however, I will admit that what began as collaboration could have ended differently...but the needs of the industry would dictate the former.
