Well I would be more pleased if they were all K8 based. The anandreview confirms the disparity between sA and s754 performance that I expected and feared and the latter definitely earns its ratings and stomps all over Celeron D.
The Sempron should purely have been a K8 launch with the XPs left as they were, the K7s are just an irrelevancy and distraction although the upcoming 2.167 Semp 3000+ (aka XP2700+) should put on the best show. All XPs below 2800+ could have become 333fsb tbreds to achieve the same effect as K7 Sempron. One good thing from the roadmap though is that 90nm K8 Sempron desktop starts in Q105 ... shame it's not earlier.
