I talked w/ a very good friend of mine at pfizer. I asked him about the hospital division and if they had anti-bacteria products currently on the streets. He said they have nothing like this out there as far as he knew and nothing like it in the pipelines.
He told me each division has it's own pipelines & drugs they work with. He felt this would be an untapped area unto itself. The drug companies have the reps visiting all the time, it would be an easy sale. He said the only problem is getting the HMO's/PPO's to pay for it. It takes more time with them to step up and buy new drugs, a year sometimes. I asked him if he was dying of Sepsis would he prefer a 33% chance of dying & a good chance of being permanently messed up if he lived or paying for a cure. He said would they prefer Visa or check?
Point being, i think we are going to knockout many different bacterial illnesses. This isn't going to be one drug we are going to make, it's going to be dozens. A whole new class of medicine is being made here. Bacteria hurts and kills Millions of people a year. Healthy people can get sick as well.
One other thing, i based my 2 week from that day for aug 9th. I looked at some charts & seen last time we were this low it bounced back up into the $.80's within 2 weeks. It was based on that, i know nothing and think that they will suprise us with something. One would assume the guys with ~10 million shares have told them this is not growing the right way. I know if i had a $6-7 Million drop in my portfolio, i would be P.O.'d.
I have supported them for many years & feel there is still more time before the huge money, $500 + PPS after splits. We will see peaks and valleys but the will get bigger as time goes on. We are in the valley, the peak cannot be far ahead.
