What do I think I know, Stay the Course?
- Successive STP govts have said they want a 4-way Lusophone consortium, at least in the EEZ;
- Petrobrás, Sonangol and Galp have all indicated their interest;
- STP has not yet managed to pass changes to oil legislation it's said Petrobrás wants. (And I have yet to find out why not.); and
- Govt has given no indication it's backed off its plan to move forward with EEZ auction process late this year (so long as no new crisis overturns the political cart).

So, I'm hoping 2009/10 will be ERHC's time of clarification in the EEZ. But as to whether the Lusophone "NOCs," particularly Petrobrás, will be playing a pivotal role/and how, I still have no firm idea.
