I talked to the Director of Financial Planning, Michael Camarillo, who is also the person writing the grants. I didn't talk to the city manager.

I agree with most everything that you say, this is a longshot with Crystal City. It may be something that will eventually be very good for ECCI but will not add anything to the value of the stock any time soon. You are right that they need some type of business going on right now in order to help their chances of getting government funding, and make no mistake, this company needs $$$$$$.

I have followed ECCI for years and have heard all the stories of how they were close with this company or that company but the truth is that they haven't closed anything yet. Why haven't they closed anything yet? I think it's because nobody wants to be the first person to sign a contract with a company that doesn't really have a proven track record. If they can get this first contract then alot can change, especially if it's with a bigger company. Then others can follow and the process with Crystal City may be more viable since ECCI will actually be a legitmate entity in their eyes.
