Oracle Hiring 250 People A Month In India >ORCL

PALO ALTO, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Oracle Corp. (ORCL) is hiring 250 people a month in India, President Chuck Phillips said.

"We're just trying to find rare skills to run our business," Phillips said at an investor event hosted by Goldman Sachs. The work force in India is highly educated, he added.

Phillips described the hiring as having a modest impact on the dispersion of Oracle's 41,000-person staff. "We're adding in other places, too," he said.
