Chicago Merc cattle futures trader fined a 37th time (CME) By Kate Gibson
CHICAGO (CBS.MW) -- In disciplinary actions effective Monday, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) fined three floor traders $25,000 each, with two of three getting suspended from the floor for five to 10 business days. Frank Ferrarese was disciplined for two pre-arranged eurodollar futures trades, James Yadgir was disciplined for failing to complete order cards from the cattle futures pit, and Alan Freeman engaged in uncommercial conduct in the pork belly futures pit, the CME said. Freeman was diciplined once in the past, while Yadgir has faced exchange regulatory action 36 times before, paying $141,500 in fines since mid-1993, according to the National Futures Association. The exchange said it does take repeat offenses into account. "Everything is taken on a case-by-case basis," said CME spokesman Alan Schoenberg.

Pennies not a zero sum game as much as some zero game.
