Gentleman:
This is to inform you that we treated our Sewerage Treatment Plant in accordance with your recommendations.
The recommendations were as follows:
1. Introduce 10 gallons of Enzyme product into the digester, daily for a 15 day period.
2. Spray sludge drying beds with 12 gallons of Enzyme product.
3. As preventative maintenance, introduce 2 gallons of Enzyme product into Raw Water Pumping Station daily on a continuing basis.
The results of the treatment were as follows:
1. Scum mat in digester has been disbursed and digester is now functioning properly.
2. Supernatant liquid from the digester is now clear and odor free.
3. There is no odor from the scum drying beds.
4. In general, the plant is operating more efficiently than it ever has, and all odor has been eliminated.
We are certainly more than pleased with the results obtained from the use of the Enzyme product and plan to continue as a regular program of maintenance with its use.
Your very truly,
Sewerage Department
