Stocks that break through moving averages or make new highs tend to have a good story pushing them......as newer highs and resistance levels are broken the story or reason for the move becomes more and more legitimate.

Bottom line is most people feel safer paying $5.00 for a $5.00 stock.....then you have the people who have the vision and brains to pay .30 for a $5.00 stock....the closer a stock gets to it's real value the more people are willing to believe it's really worth $5.00.....just the nature of the beast......
