I would like the choice of "right in the middle." Your idea of "no opinion" doesn't really fit because I think most of us have an opinion when asked, but we might not be able to make a clear distinction between agree and disagree.

would prefer options such as "sometimes agree/disagree" or "no opinion"

My choice is pretty much like your "sometimes agree/disagree." Thinking a little more about this, I like your idea better.
