I will put my two cents in on TA. At 92 and been trading for 65 years, its TA all the way. I will admit that FA will get me intrested in a stock. But TA will tell me what to do with it. FA is always after the fact. I E by the time you hear or read about it, others have acted. It makes no diffrence if you are a channel trader or such as my self, vector trader. All TA traders have a plan. Specfic buy and sell points. FA traders have none, other than ( will see how it goes ). Then they fight the human mind, that can rationalize any parameters and tell you that you made the right decision. If we give the same set of circumstances to 100 TAS. We will have parallel TA. Which leads to the same conclusion for all that are involved. This tells me that at point A there are 100 buyers and at point B 100 sellers. This lets me make money on the stock because now I am tradeing the traders. The hard part of trying to teach TA is to get people to belive in their lines. Also to trade the right stocks. First point, trade percentages. High voloum stocks. Buy and sell at the market. Right now I am day trading GNW. It has everthing you need. 10 % a day, adds up real fast. FA is a guy driving down the road and is not sure where hes going. Thats OK, beacuse any road he takes will get him there. Best of luck to all. THE OLD GUY
