This is a ridiculous approach, can you logically prove that murder is wrong? Religion is an integral part of human culture history, and to a great extent, humanity moral code. What is there to teach about Phlogeterone, since we know it does not exist? Why teach the old five elements "theories" since now we "know" there are at least 92 (but we also know we were wrong in calling them "Atoms", since they are definitely both splitabe and fusible...).
Can you teach music using "logic". I don't think so, so don't teach it. Can you teach mathematics without using five basic axioms that you must "take on faith", I don't think so, so don't teach mathematics. However, if you teach mathematics, do me a favor and add to your five "arithmetics" axioms, Bertrand Russel's Axiom of choice, and then automatically let's in the door teaching about deity, which suddenly becomes quite "logical".
The point is not teaching in school about the plurality of various faiths and even carrying on critical discussions about the differences and commonalities, the point is that no state, nor federal government will impose, or show preference to one religion over another. Ignorance of religion and what each stands for is certainly not in our constitution.
