UpNDown,re find a niche in which Athlon-64 is the most prominent chip How about the market for 32/64bit x86 microprocessors. This seems to be shaping up as the microprocessor for the next 5 years, with potential sales of 200 million units (growing at about 15 percent annually) in which AMD is, at least for the moment, the only source of supply. Quite a niche.
