Bird, I find the Antelope introduction puzzling also.

Lots of qustions. Who are these guys and what is their connection with IBM? Why market to vertical markets and government, and compete with the Tablet PC introductions marketing to the same verticals, when there is so much more potential in horizontal markets? Then, the price estimate and seemingly insisting on packaging all of the possible accessories as a "kit."

Another strange aspect is the licensing. Antelope announces a non-exclusive license to the technology from IBM, yet the computer core technology is patented and held by Xybernaut.
IBM has some rights to the particular hardware and software, but the real rights are held by XYBR. Yet, no mention of this company. So, IBM's stock goes up and XYBR's continues to tank.

BTW, is this the group you got an early whisper about, which you mentioned a couple of months ago? I am looking forward to the announcment of another license to a more consumer oriented company; eg Sony.
