"As The Currencies Turn" ;)~

thx for gettin me up ta speed.....much better than goin thru 2K worth of posts....hehe Guess I should be happy no one is knocked up & or has been cheated on or being held for ransome in some dingy dungeon basement :0

& no, I haven't spoken w/anyone on the phone.....I have chatted w/the CaT on ocasion..think I gave him a holler while I was on the road doin a rescue transport back in Jan or Feb...other than that, I'm way behind w/all the haps here.

Jester movin down SD way ya say....just the vision in my head of him at the beach w/that coffee cup & dry toast gives me a coast to coast wide smile.....then add a surf board in there for good measure & now I'm totally rollin oudda my chair ;)~

Off to Frys this AM....aka Daddy's Disneyland...selling my laptop to a fellow BOD (my non profit partner) & addin a few bucks to that & upgraden to a lil Toshiba....a 160GB on 2 gigs. My old one...a cheap lil GQ is 40GB that I upgraded from a 512 RAM to a gig. My buddy who works for Oracle as a server admin is goin w/me & then gonna be doin his thang afterwards....cleanin up the GQ for my friend & adden a few more bells 'n whistles onto the new Toshiba. It's a base model that's reg price is around $540....$100 off at Frys thru Tues while supplies last. So I'll be oudda pocket approx $200 after it's all said 'n done...not bad considering I'll be goin from a 40GB to 160 & uppin the RAM by 100%....hehe

So for approx $200 the venture gets 2 laptops....an upgraded, gently used laptop for someone who doesn't have a computer & then & a new squeeky clean Toshiba for the "Boss" ;)~

Now how many businesses do you know of that can get 2 laptops for a lil over $200? Gotta keep that overhead down ya know....after all, it is a non profit :0

OK...gl all w/PYPS....make it all today so ya can sit back & relax for the rest of the week ;))
