* Farmer mac raises $50 million of new capital
* Says declares $0.10 per share quarterly common stock dividend
* Says issued $85 million of new preferred stock and the retired of $35
million
of existing preferred stock
* Says each member of board voluntarily forfeited stock appreciation rights
granted in June 2008
* Says agreed to guarantee and purchase up to $500 million of secured debt
to
be issued by national rural
